September 19 & 20, 2009 we returned to the very prestigious 18th Century Craft Fair at George Washington's Mt. Vernon in
Virginia exhibiting and selling our Early American redware pottery. This year the weather was splendid and attendance was good. Our work was very
much appreciated by the redware enthusiasts and our fellow
craftspeople. And by the way, if you haven't been to the new theater experience and museum at Mt. Vernon, you've really missed something phenomenal. It actually snows on you in the theater when they are portraying the Christmas crossing of the Delaware River during the Revolutionary War.
October 3 & 4th, 2009 we participated in the 65th Annual Antiques, Arts & Artisans Show in Lebanon, Ohio. This is the first year that Early American Life Magazine has been co-sponsor of the event and we enjoyed being with some of the best artists and antique dealers in the country. If you didn't make it this year, make sure you put this one on your calendar for next time.
Oct 17 & 19th, 2009 we delighted to be at the 28th Annual
Deutsch Country Days Living History Weekend where the sights, sounds and smells of autumn fill the air around Marthasville, Missouri. Over 80 juried artisans recreate the lifestyle and functional crafts of the early German immigrants in 1800's Missouri.
November 14 & 15th, 2009 we will be at The Wilton Historical Society
Fine American Craftsmen Show in Wilton Connecticut. We are so excited to be among some of the country's top artists and their fine furniture, folk art and fine crafts.
